8b DOLCE Foshan

世界中へ感動と笑顔を届けるスイーツとして展開している「8b DOLCE」。中華人民共和国広東省の中央南部に位置する、東に広州市、南には香港とマカオが近接する佛山市がロケーションとなりました。「佛山嶺南天地」の文化財建築物を利用してのプロジェクトということから、空間コンセプトを “Old-New” とし、先人の知恵により残されたこれまでの素材と現代人が創造するこれからの素材を引合せ、各々の表情を共存させることを意識するものとしました。 単に過去を継承するだけではなく、現在を受入れながらも次世代へ繋がるアップデートを繰返す空間を目指したいと思います。

“8b DOLCE” has been making sweets to deliver smiles and happy throbs to the world. This time, it locates in Foshan – a city in the central south of Guangdong Province in China. The city neighbors Guanzhou City in the east, also Hong Kong and Macao in the south.Since this project uses the building registered as a cultural property of “Lingnan Tiandi Foshan”, the space concept is “Old-New” where the past materials of ancient wisdom meet the incoming ones of modern creation and their tastes co-exist. The goal is to create a space that repeats updating toward next generations, accepting the present as well as inheriting the past.
